Navigation was another big challenge. LiDAR alone doesn't work well in narrow aisles-when you're inches away from racks on both sides, there's not enough distinct geometry to track. So we built a hybrid system that combines LiDAR, depth vision, and inertial navigation. It cross-checks data from all three sensors in real time, so even if the floor is shiny and reflective, or a pallet is sticking out slightly into the aisle, it stays locked on.
