REEMAN Showcases Custom Mobile Manipulator Built on Its AMR Chassis
REEMAN Robotics is sharing a custom development project that combines an AMR chassis, a dual-battery configuration, a 1.5 m lift module and a robotic arm. The configuration illustrates how a mobile robot base can support the development of a robot designed around specific working positions, heights and tasks.

In this setup, the chassis provides mobility, while the lift module adjusts the robotic arm's working height. Bringing these components together gives developers a platform for exploring tasks that require both movement between locations and manipulation at different heights. The dual-battery configuration is included in the customized hardware setup, with power requirements considered across the base and the upper equipment.
REEMAN supports custom development through open SDK and API interfaces, allowing customers to integrate the mobile chassis with their own software and control systems. Developers can build application-specific task logic around their selected robotic arm, lift and end tool, with the integration scope defined for each project.

The mechanical and electrical interfaces also need attention. Arm mounting position, available working space, cable routing, power supply and system stability all influence how the final robot should be configured. Coordinating these elements helps shape a solution around the customer's actual workflow.
Potential development directions include material handling between workstations, inspection at different heights and mobile robotics research. The required tooling, sensors and control logic would be selected for each application.

Using an existing AMR chassis gives development teams a practical foundation, allowing them to concentrate on the upper structure, manipulation functions and application software. This project shows how a mobile base can form part of customized automation equipment and support further development by system integrators and robotics teams.
REEMAN supports projects involving customized upper structures, additional hardware and software integration. Customers exploring a mobile manipulator can share their intended tasks, load requirements, working heights and site layout to discuss a suitable configuration.
